Chandler Baby Portrait Photographer Documents First Birthday Smash Cake

First year down, it’s a BIG deal, and a great reason to document. 

Mom and dad can look back and wonder how they did it, and how one year could have gone by so incredibly fast!

We started out with a simple Lego train and hat, snapped some adorable shots, and quickly moved on before losing his attention.

  With the help of mom, we slipped in a birthday cake, some blocks, and new hat.

I managed to get a few shots before he noticed the cake!

This is not a new idea, but it really doesn’t get old. 

Watching your little one fully experience his first birthday cake is better than having a piece yourself. 

This little guy got started out with a little apprehension, then once he realized it was okay to touch, and even fun to play with, he immediately went in for the taste test. 

This was the point of no return, and oh so cute!
